INFORUM 2007 13th Conference on Professional Information Resources

Next monday I will be leaving for the beautiful city Prague to attend the Inforum2007 Conference and to deliver a keynote speech on Tuesday. I am very honoured to be doing my speech after Dr. Péter Jacsó Trends in Professional and Academic Online Information Service.

The 13th annual conference of INFORUM that deals with professional electronic information resources for research, development, education and business purposes will be held from May 22 to May 24, 2007 in Prague. Since 2003 the original territorial focus on the Czech Republic and Slovakia has been expanded to the other Central and Eastern European countries and it has become the main event in this field in the region. The conference is attended especially by information professionals from special and public libraries, private corporations and state agencies, IT managers, physicians, lawyers, university teachers and students. (from the website)

They plan to live broadcast the complete Conference, but will not record the sessions. http://server3.streaming.cesnet.cz/inforum
