Faculty of 1000 Medicine: preview version!

It looks like finally -after months of promising publication- that Faculty of 1000 MEDICINE will be available in January 2006! You can take a peek at a preview version: http://www.f1000medicine.com/browse/ What is it? "Faculty of 1000 Medicine is the next-generation literature evaluation and awareness service for medicine. Based on the recommendations of a selected faculty of nearly 2500 leading, international researchers and clinicians, it will systematically highlight and review the most pertinent papers in any field of medicine." The BIOLOGY F1000 has been rather successful.

KOPERNIO extension to find PDF's : plus Open Access button, Unpaywall, Google Scholar and Connect UPDATED!

UPDATE: Clarivate Analytics Acquires Research Startup Kopernio to Accelerate Pace of Scientific Innovation I am currently testing 4 browser extensions in Chrome that can help me find the PDF i need. Updates from Journal Apps (BrowZine, docwise, ReadbyQxMD, Docphin)

Here a short overview of all new updates around the Journal apps we are supporting. Personally I am most excited about the anouncements of " docwise " making big steps to keep up with BrowZine & Read (Integration -"Open in"- with Dropbox, Evernote and more, save and email full text articles), but making a hug jump with unique features, like shareable Folders with docwise users ánd a RSS reader feature (boldly called Google Reader replacement!). You could ask why on earth do you want that.... Well, simply to insert the feed into a feed reader or make all posts/updates available in an "aggregator" like Rebelmouse.com. With Rebelmouse you can create your own social media Frontpage (and blog) based on various social media accounts, searches AND RSS feeds. Rebelmouse offers to add My Pages via my facbook account, but other pages can only be entered via RSS.
