How do we get the users to user our resources? Here's one way to look at it

"Don’t Change The Resources, Change How Users Experience Them" It is good to see more dicussion about how to get our users to our resources! User education is one subject libraries do need to do differently from the way they have been doing it for years. But it has to be more convincing, more enthausiatic, with more passion and of course more integrated in medical teaching and together with the new technologies the students are already using. I must read more at the blog Creating Passionate Users and dig in.

KOPERNIO extension to find PDF's : plus Open Access button, Unpaywall, Google Scholar and Connect UPDATED!

Here a short overview of all new updates around the Journal apps we are supporting. Personally I am most excited about the anouncements of " docwise " making big steps to keep up with BrowZine & Read (Integration -"Open in"- with Dropbox, Evernote and more, save and email full text articles), but making a hug jump with unique features, like shareable Folders with docwise users ánd a RSS reader feature (boldly called Google Reader replacement!). Make RSS feed from any Facebook Page

You could ask why on earth do you want that.... Well, simply to insert the feed into a feed reader or make all posts/updates available in an "aggregator" like Rebelmouse.com. With Rebelmouse you can create your own social media Frontpage (and blog) based on various social media accounts, searches AND RSS feeds.
